Umpire Clinics - 2011
We will be holding two clinics for those interested in being an umpire and while I hate to use the word mandatory ... well ... you need to be there. We are asking that all Majors and Minors coaches attend also. The training will be done by George Villarini, an umpire from Hoosic, NY. George is a certified LL umpire. The first will be a class room session. The second will be live training at a scrimmage between Rotary and Lions. Dates and times are:
Monday 4/18 @ 6:00 pm @ MEMS Cafeteria
Friday 4/ 22 @ 5:30 pm @ Old Field

Where: REC Park (outside- dress appropriately)
When: Saturday, April 23rd
Minors 10:00-11:00 am
Majors 11:00am -12:00 noon
Minor coaches need to identify potential pitchers and each team send 3 players.
Major teams should send 6 from each team.
More likely than not one of your pitchers will be your catcher so send them with all of the catcher’s gear.
Coaches are welcome to attend.
