Registration Info for 2013 MYB Season

Manchester Youth Baseball Registration

 

Manchester Youth Baseball (MYB) is looking forward to the beginning of another great baseball season! Registration will be held at the Manchester Elementary Middle School (MEMS) cafeteria on Monday March 4th from 3-4:30 and Tuesday March 5th from 6-8pm.

 

MYB offers baseball for boys and girls from kindergarten through the age of 12. Tee-Ball/soft pitch is open to children ages 5-6. AAA is for children ages 7-8. The Minor league is for children 9-10 and Major league for children 11-12. Players will be placed in the appropriate division based on his or her age on April 30, 2013.

New this year, we are forming a 13 year-old baseball team (sign-ups to be held independently) and considering beginning a girls softball league, ages 10-12, depending on level of community interest.

 

Our season runs from the end of April through mid-June, with practices starting in April, as soon as weather allows.

 

The registration fee for Tee-Ball is $40. The fee for AAA, Minor and Major league play is $45. We offer a family discount for those registering two or more children at $70. Scholarships are available and subject to board approval. Volunteers are vital to our organization and are needed for coaching, concessions and many other duties so please mark the appropriate box on the registration form.

2013 Manchester Youth Baseball Clinic

Hey baseball fans! Anyone ready to say good-bye to winter and longing to hear the crack of the bats again? Ah, but winter is famous for its rusty throwing arms…what to do? Manchester Youth Baseball (MYB) has a solution! Come to our annual Spring tune-up training camp. It’s a great opportunity to learn/improve skills and also get a jump on the competition!

Join us for (4) indoor sessions at Riley Rink right here in Manchester. We’ll have several skills stations set up in various age groups with coaches to help you get the best pre-season training around. The camp is for boys and girls ages 5-12. Please come with your glove, water, and sneakers. Please do not wear cleats. The dates are; March 16, 23, 30 and April 6, all Saturdays, from 3 - 6pm 
3 - 4pm for T-ball and AAA participants - Ages 5 - 8)
4 - 5pm for Minors - Ages 9 & 10
5 - 6pm for Majors - Ages 11 & 12).
